Thick billows of smoke overwhelmed the sky of Kuala Lumpur because of a colossal fire in Segambut this evening.
It is discovered that a huge automobile parts shop was on fire.
The occurrence happened when the street was clogged with vehicles in the wake of working hours.
As per private laborer Salmi Said, the thick haze of smoke could be seen from Sentul.
In an assertion, the Kuala Lumpur fire and salvage office activities team focus said the fire included a 40×100 ft, half cut automobile parts shop called Suzuka Autoparts in Jalan Kg Pasir in Taman Segambut.
“Practically 90% of the shop was burned to the ground,” tasks officer fire director Muhammad Ridhwan Kamarulzaman said.
He said there were no setbacks detailed up until now, adding the endeavors to extinguish the fire are as yet continuous.
He said they got a crisis call at 5.50pm, prior to conveying its power to the location of the occurrence.
83 firemen from different groups were conveyed, including eight fire stations – Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Wangsa Maju, Jinjang, Sri Hartamas, Hang Tuah, Titiwangsa, Sentul and Seputeh.
